Trick or Treat

 Lace - Haberdashery | Dress & Tights - H&M | Ring - Aldo | Boots - Vera Moda

Happy Halloween everyone.  If you can't guess, I'm meant to be a Black Widow, what do you think?  Are you guys all dressed up?

I'm all about DIY, cheap and cheerful costumes - I owned pretty much everything already, I just had to buy the lace at £1.99 a meter which was a total bargain and used this YouTube video for inspiration for my make-up.

On Saturday I went to a cool night called The Passing Cloud Feast of the Dead.  It had a forest creature theme, with all the bar staff dressed up, spooky decorations covering the walls, loads of live DJs and stage performances.  It was a great night with great friends and lots of golden Rum and Lemonade was consumed.

What does everyone else have planned for Halloween?

Oogie Boogie...

 Cardigan, Jeggings & Boots - H&M | Top - Charity Shop (Topshop)

I love the Halloween season with lots of fancy dress parties, trick or treating and of course pumpkin carving.  In fact I've got a special Halloween related post coming up tomorrow.  What is everyone else doing to celebrate this fun holiday?

I also went to see Drive this week - it's such a beautiful movie with a great soundtrack, you should definitely go see it before it leaves the cinema - though just to warn you all it's rather violent.  What have you been to see recently?

These are the two pumpkins we have carved this year, you'll probably have seen them already if you follow me on Twitter.  Has anyone else been carving pumpkins?

✩ Fur Collars and Robots ✩

Cardigan & Skirt - H&M | Vest Top - bought in Thailand | Tights & Leg Warmers - Primark | Necklace - Forever 21 | Coat - Vintage | Boots - Office

It's finally time to bust out the winter coat - which I have been looking forward to for ages, as I picked up this fab vintage lambskin coat, which is the perfect fit and perfect for the cold weather.  It's so warm and the fur collar is really snug.

I really do love the cold months, not because it's cold, but because you can layer up and remain snug as a bug.  What about everyone else? Have you got a coat you've been dying to wear? Do you prefer the hot or cold weather?

The one thing I do not like about the cold is the bugs that go around, I've currently got the sniffles and a horrible cough, but refuse to stay in and get better so I think I'm actually making it worse. Doh!

Snappy Snaps

Hat - Accessorize | Dress & Boots - Primark | Tights - M&S
Nails - No7, I'm Exquisite & Barry M, Black Nail Effects

I decided to try out the one odd painted nail that I've seen around, and I quite like it, what about you guys?

It's definitely the time of year to dust off the wooly hats and gloves, it may be gloriously sunning outside, but there sure is a definite chill in the air.  I love this hat, I picked it up in the Summer sale from Accessorize for the bargain price of £3.  Has everyone else started to pull out their woolies?

If you follow me on twitter you'll know I have finally got my hands on a Diana Mini, I used two  GroupOn vouchers where you pay £20 and get a £50 lomography voucher, so I got me a camera and flash for the super bargain price for £40!

I chose the mini because I love the effects you can achieve with this camera and it's all on 35mm film so alot cheaper to process that my 120 film that my Holga takes.  Its also small enough to keep in my handbag so I can take it where ever I go.  What's you favorite toy camera at the moment?
I'm off out this evening to celebrate my sisters birthday, I hope you all have a great weekend.

♫ All the leaves are brown... ♫

Cardigain & Shoes - Primark | Dress - Forever 21 | Tights - H&M

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I saw it - I mean, who can resist its cute crocheted collar?  And the long sleeves are perfect for fresh Autumnal days.

October is back to normal here in England, the temperatures are back down to the mid teens and the brown fallen leaves are being whipped up by the Autumn winds.  I do love Autumn, and it sounds really silly but I can't wait til it gets really cold so I can where my new winter coat!  Anyone else looking forward to the cold?

Today I'm in the mood to do nothing but chill out, I'm still in my PJ's watching cookery shows and doing a spot of online shopping - it's great!  What are you guys up to today?

♡ Indian Summer ♡

Cardigan & Peal Ring - Primark | Dress - Vintage | Leaf Ring - Aldo | Sandals - Custom made in Vietnam

As you may or may not know there has been a mini heatwave here in the UK and boy was it a scorcher here in the UK with temperatures hitting 29°C.  I thought Summer was well and truly over, but nay, Mother Nature decided to treat us once more to the glorious sunshine.

It was the perfect excuse to properly air some of my Summer dresses, and this maxi dress is one of my faves because of the pretty colours and pattern and perfect length.

I've spent most of my week working (even on Saturday!) but also spent the little of my free time sipping mixed fruit cider with friends - I'm going to be so sad to see the warm disappear at the end of the week.

Has everyone in the UK been enjoying the sunshine?  Anyone else had random weather?
