So I've just got around to testing Barry M's Nail Effects (311), what can I say.... I love it!
I used it over Marks and Spencer's neon yellow polish, which, though I love the colour, the quality is just not there, I needed two thick coats and my thumb polish has started chipping already! Not good, but luckily the Nail Effects disguises it nicely.
Although I have managed to sort my nails out, I don't actually know what I will be doing this evening, or what I will be wearing, so I will let you guys know what I got up to and which dress I decided to wear later.
Let me know what you lot have planned for this evening, and what wonderful delights you are wearing....

Snug as a Bug
I have been looking at a jacket in Topshop for a while now and really debating whether to purchase it or not as all the fluff comes off from the lining and for the price, it's not ideal. So what more perfect than a replica popping up in Primark for the bargain price of £18 and no fluff comes off! its so cosy and warm, I just can't stop wearing it....

Heading Back After The Holidays...
Let me start off by saying a Big Merry Christmas to all, I hope you had a wonderful day, and so the big day has passed, and what a great day it was. I spent the day with my boyfriend and his family, eating, chilling out and watching TV, what more could you want for a Christmas day.
Unfortunately I couldn't spend the holiday with my family this year due to work commitments, but it does mean double time with my boyfriend which was quite a nice change. After our break at his parents we headed back to my home in London, so I needed an outfit that was comfy to travel in when hiking all my pressies and bags on the train, let me know what you think:

Winter Warmers
So it's been iced over in my part of London for the last couple of days which is great, because I just love the snow, however it has been rather slippery too so it was time to bust out the wellies. I love walking to the station with the cold wind in my face when I'm wrapped up all warm, it just makes it feel that more Christmas-y.
But wearing wellies all day in the office? I think not, so just chuck in a pair of boots into my bag and I'm dressed for the office
Hat - H&M, Scarf - H&M, Gloves (x2) - H&M, Coat - BHS, Bag - M&M, Tights - Primark, Wellies - Ebay

All hail BarryM nail polish
So I kinda have a thing for nail polish, I love the stuff, but I don't like paying more than £5 for a bottle. I have to say I have trawled the shops for nail polishes that will last more than a day, but that don't come with the price tag. I've tried countless Rimmel nail polishes, Bourjois, collection 2000, M&S, the list goes on, and I have to say I have found some great colours, and polishes that glide on like a dream, but they just don't have the staying power.
That was until a friend recommended BarryM, the first colour I ever got was black and it lasted a whole week, with no chips at all! Now I'm quite a busy person, and my job requires me to do a lot of typing and other tasks with my hands so this is exactly what I was looking for in a nail polish, fantastic collection, goes on smoothly, colours stay vibrant when applied etc etc. So today I thought I'd share with you the latest to my BarryM collection:
This is Rasberry (273) I took it off today just so I could try out my very latest purchase Dusky Mauve (313).

So I just couldn't wait to get down to Superdrug and have a look at what was on offer on their 3for2, here are a few things I picked up....
As soon as I got home I just had to test the dazzle dust as it was so pretty in the shop...I have to say it's not as vibrant as I had hoped, but it is still very pretty.
Here's what I am wearing today - I'm planning on going to my girlfriends house to chill out and watch movies so decided to wear something comfy (and items I bought yesterday - see earlier blog):

Make-up - Eyes - MAC Painterly paint pot, BarryM Petrol Black Dazzle Dust, Sleek Eyeliner, Cheeks - M&S blusher, Contour - Dallas by Benefit, Lips - Lucas PawPaw Ointment

I love Christmas Shopping...
I don't what it is, maybe it's the packed shops, or the buzz in the streets, or the cold and the sparkling Chrismtas lights all around, but I just love Christmas shopping, and surprisingly I managed to do all mine in one go....well apart for the bofriend! So to reward myself for a hard day's shop I decided to treat myself to a few things...
So when I was browsing in New Look for a pressie for my sister I spied 3 tops I just couldn't resist (but I had 20% off with the Voucher Cloud app, so that makes everything OK :))
So all there is left to do is find a pressie for the boyfriend...and swing by Superdrug because there is 3for2 on all cosmetics at the moment, so I may just treat myself again.
Let me know what you guys think of my purchases, and what other bargains are lurking in the shops of London.

I just love oversized tops at the moment, can you tell?
Then as I was wandering further down Oxford Street there were these lovely ladies handing out Buy One Get One Free vouchers for Vera Moda, so of course you just have to pop in!
I managed to find these bad boys, and I know my friend was after these as well so I picked up two pairs for only £40! Not bad huh!
